Ordering Research Peptides in the 805: Dispatch, Transit and Local Delivery

Published · Reviewed by Jennaca Ortiz

The 805 area code covers a lot of ground, from Paso Robles down through Santa Maria and Lompoc to Santa Barbara, Ventura and Oxnard. Depending on where your lab sits, an order from 805 Peptide Supply reaches you one of two ways. This guide explains both so you can plan a study around a real arrival date instead of guessing.

Two clocks: dispatch and transit

Every order runs on two timers, one after the other.

Dispatch is how long we take to pick, pack and hand your order to the carrier. In-stock items are marked "Ships Same Day." Order one Monday through Friday before 3:00 PM Pacific and it leaves that day. After 3:00 PM, on a weekend or on a federal holiday, it leaves the next business day. Some items are prepared to order and marked "Ships in 7 Business Days." If your cart has one of those, the whole order ships together on that timeline unless you ask us about a split shipment.

Transit is the carrier's part. Once a package is handed to UPS, it takes up to 3 business days within the contiguous United States.

Local delivery in San Luis Obispo County and the Santa Maria area

If your lab is in San Luis Obispo County or the Santa Maria area, your order can skip the carrier network. We deliver it ourselves for a flat $10.50, or free on orders over $200. Same-day items ordered before 3:00 PM Pacific are packed that day and delivered the next business day. Every local order arrives within 2 business days unless it contains a 7-business-day item.

Santa Barbara, Ventura and the rest of the 805

South of the local delivery area, orders ship by UPS. Flat-rate shipping is $18.99, or free over $200. Because the cutoff runs on Pacific Time, the same rule applies whether you're in Goleta or Thousand Oaks: before 3:00 PM, it ships today.

A quick planning example

Say a Ventura lab places an in-stock order at 1:30 PM on a Tuesday. The order is dispatched Tuesday and arrives within 3 business days of that, by Friday at the latest. The same order placed at 4:00 PM is dispatched Wednesday instead.

Before you check out

  • UPS cannot deliver to PO Boxes or military APO/FPO/DPO addresses, so use a street address.
  • Double-check suite and building numbers. Most delays we see on campus and business-park deliveries come down to a missing unit number.
  • Your confirmation email shows both your dispatch-by date and your estimated delivery date.
